Medical protective clothing includes all kinds of clothing specially worn in the medical environment, so there are many classification methods.
1. By purpose
It can be divided into daily work clothes, surgical clothes, isolation clothes and protective clothing according to the use and occasions.
Daily work clothes refer to the white coats worn by medical staff in their daily work, also known as white coats.
Operating clothes refer to specially designed clothes worn in the operating room.
Isolation clothing refers to the clothing worn by medical personnel when contacting patients and their families to visit patients.
Protective clothing refers to the clothing worn by personnel entering medical emergency area, infectious disease area, electromagnetic radiation area and other special areas.
2. According to service life
According to the service life, medical protective clothing can be divided into disposable protective clothing and reusable protective clothing.
The domestic standard for disposable surgical gowns is the industry standard YY/T 0506-2016 Cleanliness of Operating Orders, Surgical Dresses and Patients, Medical Personnel and Instruments issued by the State Food and Drug Administration and implemented on January 1, 2017. The standard for disposable medical protective clothing is the technical requirements for disposable medical protective clothing (GB19082-2009) stipulated by the National Standardization Administration of China and implemented on March 1, 2010.
Disposable protective clothing is discarded after use without disinfection or washing. It is convenient to use and can avoid cross infection. However, disposable materials degrade slowly and easily cause environmental pollution. Usually, surgical gowns and isolation gowns with high protection requirements are used. Type. Reusable type shall be washed and sterilized at high temperature after use. Generally speaking, the comfort of materials is good, but the protective performance is usually poor. The cleaning and disinfection process will also increase a large number of human and water resources costs, usually with low protection requirements. This type is mostly used for daily work clothes (white coats).
3. By material
According to different material processing technologies, medical protective clothing is divided into woven protective clothing and non-woven protective clothing.
Woven materials are mainly used to process reusable medical protective clothing, including traditional woven fabrics, high-density fabrics, coated fabrics and laminated fabrics. The traditional woven fabric is mainly made of synthetic fibers such as cotton fiber or polyester and cotton blended yarn, which has good comfort and is mainly used for daily work clothes (white coats). High density fabric is made of high count cotton yarn or other superfine synthetic fiber filament. The yarn gap is very small. Due to the capillarity of the fiber, it has moisture permeability. After being treated with fluorocarbon, silica gel and other waterproof agents, it has certain water resistance. Liquid permeability, mainly used for surgical gown materials with good waterproof effect. Coated and laminated fabrics are used to enhance the impermeability of materials and for protective clothing materials used in more severe environments. After coating treatment, the surface of the coated fabric is sealed by the coating agent and has impermeability. The hydrophilic groups in the coating or the microporous structure formed by special methods can ensure the moisture permeability of the fabric. Composite fabric is made of fabric and special membrane (such as microporous membrane, polyurethane moisture permeable membrane, etc.) through composite process, such as PTFE super waterproof and moisture permeable composite fabric. Because the pore diameter of the fabric main membrane is much smaller than the diameter of the water drop, it can prevent the infiltration of blood, body fluid, etc., and the porosity of the micropores is high.
Non woven protective clothing materials are basically disposable. Spunbonded non-woven fabric, spunlaced non-woven fabric, SMS (spunbonded melt blown spunbonded) composite non-woven fabric and flash evaporation method are mainly used. Non woven fabric and spunbonded fabric fitting products, etc. Generally speaking, the protection of non-woven protective clothing is better than that of machine-made materials.
